The Basics

Q: Ok, but…what even is AKS?

A: We’re a Kolkata-born fashion label started by three girls: Ankita, Aarchi, and Ayanna. We believe premium style shouldn’t come with a premium price tag, so we create handcrafted, statement pieces that feel elevated without draining your wallet.

Q: What does AKS stand for?

A: It started as Ankita Kumari Singh’s initials, ngl. But it grew into something bigger: Always Keep Shining. Confidence >> price tags, always.

Q: Where’s it all made?

A: 100% designed and handcrafted in Kolkata, India. No shortcuts.

Q: Why does every piece look slightly different?

A: Because real humans hand-make this stuff, not machines. Tiny variations in placement, texture, or finish = proof it’s actually handmade and not mass-produced in a factory somewhere. That’s a feature, not a flaw.

Ordering & Paying

Q: How can I pay?

A: Cards, UPI, net banking, wallets, basically whatever’s easiest for you at checkout. All secure, don’t worry.

Q: Are prices already including tax?

A: Yep, all prices are in Indian Rupees, and tax is already baked in unless we say otherwise.

Q: What if the site shows the wrong price?

A: Rare, but if it happens (human/tech error), we’ll cancel the order and refund you in full. No stress.

Q: Do I need an account to shop?

A: Yes, you do need an account, logged in with your mail ID and phone number.

Shipping Szn

Q: How long till my order ships?

A: Everything’s handcrafted, so we need 9–10 business days actually, to make your piece before it even leaves the building. Another 3–7 business days, depending on where you are and which courier is handling it. Good things take time.

Q: Is shipping free?

A: Yes, bestie. Free shipping on all prepaid orders in India. If there’s an extra COD fee, it’ll show up at checkout, no surprises.

Q: How do I know where my package is?

A: We’ll slide into your email/SMS with a tracking link the second it ships.

Q: My order’s late. What’s going on?

A: Sometimes weather, holidays, courier chaos, or festive season rush slows things down, totally out of our hands, but we’ll keep you posted either way.

Q: I typo’d my address, help?

A: Please double-check before placing your order. We can’t fix missed deliveries caused by wrong/incomplete addresses on our end.

Q: I placed a few separate orders. Will they come together?

A: Not guaranteed. They might ship separately depending on stock and production timing.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: Can I return or swap something?

A: Refer to the Return & Exchange Policy of AKS.

Taking Care of Your Pieces

Q: How do I wash this without ruining it?

A:

• Hand wash inside out

• Mild detergent only

• Don’t scrub directly on embellishments

• Dry in shade, not direct sun

• Skip ironing over embroidery/embellished spots

Q: What if I don’t follow that and stuff falls off?

A: Sadly, that won’t count as a manufacturing defect — proper care = longer life for your embellishments, promise it’s worth it.

Privacy Stuff (the boring but important part)

Q: Is my info safe with you guys?

A: Yes. We only collect what we need (name, contact, address, order history) and we never store your card/bank/UPI details ourselves — that all goes through secure, verified payment gateways.

Q: Are you selling my data??

A: Never. We don’t sell, rent, or trade your info to anyone. Only shared with the people who actually need it to get your order to you (payment + shipping partners).

Q: Can I stop the promo emails?

A: Of course — hit unsubscribe on any email or just message us at aksofficial.co@gmail.com. Order updates will still come through, though, since those are important.
